Welcome to the ALF Ambulance

ALF
Ambulance is a municipal based advanced life support ambulance service
operating under a Joint Powers Agreement and serving the cities of
ALF
Ambulance is governed by an Operating Board that consists of an elected City
Council member from each of the member cities. The Operating Board makes major
policy decisions regarding the service. The Executive Management Committee
was created in 2002 to manage the operation of the service. The EMC
consists of the three City Administrators plus a department head from each City.
Daily operational decisions are made by the Ambulance Administrator and
Supervisors.

ALF Ambulance is currently in the process of evaluating various options relative to providing emergency medical responses to our communities. One of those options may be contracting the service to an ambulance service. The proposals are due at 2:00 p.m. on August 5, 2008. A list of those ambulance services that responded to the Request for Proposal will be posted on this website shortly thereafter.
The proposals will be reviewed and evaluated in mid-August, after which interviews will be conducted.
