ALF Ambulance is a municipal based advanced life support ambulance service operating under a Joint Powers Agreement and serving the cities of Apple Valley, Lakeville and Farmington in Dakota County, Minnesota. In addition to the three cities, ALF provides ambulance service on a contractual basis to the surrounding townships of Castle Rock, Empire and Eureka. The total service area is approximately 160 square miles with a population over 125,000.

An Executive Management Committee oversees the administrative functions of the organization.  The Committee provides the organization with a broad range of quality expertise and experience in the fields of administration, personnel management, public safety and finance.  The Executive Management Committee, which is comprised of one City Administrator and a staff member from each of the three cities, is accountable to the Board of Directors.

The Ambulance Executive Management Committee Recommends Allina Medical Transportation.

The ALF Ambulance Executive Management Committee (EMC) will recommend the ALF Board of Directors select Allina Medical Transportation (AMT) to manage the ALF ambulance service. The board is scheduled to meet on November 10 to act on the recommendation. Implementation of the executive management committees recommendation is contingent upon the ALF boards approval.
